Easter Weekend

We spent Easter weekend in upstate New York. We all packed up in the RV (Ethan, me, Laura, Greg, Eric, Andy, Alex and the pups) and drove 4.5 hours to Ithaca to visit Steph (Al's girlfriend). It was an eventful ride. Ma rode up front, Ethan drove, the boys played Wii, I cleaned/prepared/hosted all while Pops talked about how great it was to be able to travel in such a way.

We got to the hotel where L&G were staying (and we were parking), met Steph and immediately took off for the vineyards! Who knew New York had vineyards...?!?! We visited three, one of which Steph and Al worked at for a short period of time. We were able to taste several different wines and five different ciders - all for a very small price I might add. (Wine tasting in Vegas is ridiculous!) The eight of us then enjoyed a nice dinner at a French restaurant in charming downtown Ithaca.

After getting kicked out of the parking lot for running the generator too long, we moved to a campsite. Luckily, Ethan found a site prior to leaving on the trip...just in case. This is where Ethan, Eric and I (and the pups) called home for the night. We left the campsite early that next morning and headed up an hour and a half to Rochester.
Uncle Robert and cousins Micheal and Julia took us to church for a nice Easter service then headed back to their house for some delicious food and family fun. The Kostin family made the dinner and the Foulkes family brought the desserts. It was a pretty awesome Easter collaboration...and everyone seemed to enjoy the Ostakaka I made.

After the dining/visiting we all packed up in the RV and headed back to Westfield...minus Robert on the back.
