New Orleans was nothing short of an amazing experience. I've been racking my brain for weeks on how to write about this chapter of our lives...maybe a picture tour would be best...?
We ate crawfish on top of a building in the French Quarter.
(Yes, that's Ethan eating seafood.)

We got a few beads.
Believe it or not, there is life in NOLA outside of Mardi Gras. Really good life as a matter of fact. Ron took us to a spot in a suburb for some local fare. Catfish, alligator, gumbo...mmm!
We ended our trip with a fantastic meal at 7 on Fulton... if you're ever in the area, we highly recommend it! (Turns out that our waiter was from Henderson, NV - small world!)
We're in Apopka, FL now, about half an hour outside of Orlando. For now we're enjoying the wonderful weather, bike trails and cozy RV resort. We plan to hit Disney World this week, stay tuned for more...

Photo essays are always a solid option for the pro blogger. However, failing to post for multiple weeks is not.
Nice job profiling N'awlins. I was born there and will second that there is definitely more to NO than just Mardi Gras. Although Mardi Gras is a ridiculously good time and everyone should go at least once in their life.
