We've been talking about 'it' for a while now, so we finally did it! About a month ago our 41 foot long home-on-wheels arrived from Arizona. After a 2-hour run through with the delivery man and a short exchange of check for title, Ethan and I were officially Recreational Vehicle owners. My last day of work was last Thursday and the planning has begun.
We're going to do a couple of short trial runs before we head out for our roadtrip around the US! We don't have a detailed, prioritized or scheduled plan yet... and we're not so sure we'll have one at all. We are just looking forward to being on the road with our pups and having the ability to roam around the country for a while! We are so greatful to get the opportunity to do this at our age, so we are going to make the most of it!

How cool is this!!! I am tickled about this and so excited for you. If you go to California, a place you should go see is Solvang, it is east of Buellton which is north of Santa Barbara. It is a little Dutch town that is so quaint. I think you'd like it. And of course, when in Kansas, you gotta stop by and see me. The kids (Sarah and Zeb) have three acres and it has plenty of room to park a RV. This is so exciting!!!!

41 FEET? Yeah, you went all in, huh? :) Heck, there are towns where your muffler will be pulling in while you are leaving. And FYI Ethan, it's unsafe to be driving with Cujo running free at your feet, especially when taking your eyes off the road.
