Saturday we went to the flea market! As all flea markets are, it was filled with second hand clothes, dishes and household items, and some of the most amazing antiques and furniture ever! There were people everywhere. We bought a few items, Ethan got to haggle with a local (got him talked down from $210 to $65) and after a couple hours of exploring we found the metro and headed home.
Today is Versailles day! No haggling for Ethan.

We went to one of those farmer/flea markets there with Karrie and were amazed. I think the only thing we did NOT see offered was body parts. Perhaps I just didn't ask the right question. The farmers still have the morning's dirt on their hands, their crops are so fresh. A wonderful experience. The only thing more enjoyable and entertaining I can imagine is listening to Ethan "marchandant en français". (haggling in French) Appréciez Versailles!
one of the absolutely best things about exchanging is the amount of time you can afford, oui? so that you have the time to feel relaxed and not always doing classic sight seeing; instead having lazy weekends, walks wherever, and certainly in France, markets! tres bien!
Now this is some of the places I'd want to visit! It gives you a real feel for the people. The photo ops are endless, I'm sure, and I look forward to seeing your photo album.
I'm sure you're squeezing as much as possible into this week but don't forget, we're all waiting on the edge of our seats for your next post. (No pressure. Really. None.)
P.S.
Men don't haggle. We negotiate.
